Welcome I am Gia Tou Lee, an Ordained Minister, my wife and I are Missionaries. We founded Hmong World Ministries (HWM), “Voice of Hope” on August 13, 2005 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. HWM is a non-profit ministry incorporated in the State of Minnesota under Tax Exemption Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. God Called Us I was a former Army officer, founder and former President of Hmong Mutual Associations, Hmong National Fellowship Assemblies of God . I also, have served as a General Presbyter and was on the Commission on Ethnicity at the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri. As a young man, I risked my life while serving in Royal Laotian and the U.S. Special Forces to protect the country of Laos during the Vietnam War. By God’s grace, I survived two plane crashes, in one of the crashes, I jumped out of the airplane without a parachute and overcame five life threatening situations. I am May Bo Lee. I was born in Laos under terrifying conditions. At my birth, my mother became very ill and so my father asked a shaman to communicate with the evil spirits in order to heal her. The shaman believed that my mother and I shared one life, meaning that one of us had to die to save the other. My father decided to save my mother and let me die. But God sent my grandmother to save my life. She convinced my father to let time heal both my mother and me. Together, we trust that God preserved our lives
